Embracing parenthood! Maralee Nichols enjoyed her first Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, by hanging out with her and Tristan Thompson’s 5-month-old son, Theo.
“They are spending the day together with loved ones,” Nichols’ rep told Us WeeklySunday
The California resident, 31, gushed over her little one via social media on the holiday, writing, “Words cannot express how much I love you. Being your mommy is my greatest blessing.”

Nichols shared a picture of her baby boy with us. She was wearing a nude dress, while she sat on the floor and hugged Theo. She added: “You are my world. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing mothers out there!”
In December 2021, news broke that Thompson, 31, was being sued by Nichols for child support. He claimed that Thompson had fathered her newborn son at the time. UsExclusively, she disclosed that she gave birth to Theo in March.
The Chicago Bulls player confirmed in January that he is Theo’s father, making him a father of three. Thompson shares 5-year-old Prince with his ex Jordan CraigTrue, a 4-year-old girl with an ex-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” he wrote via his Instagram Story at the time. “Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
The NBA star publicly apologized to Kardashian, 37, after it was determined that he fathered Nichols’ son while he was still dating the Good American cofounder.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” he added at the time. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
UsAfter a relationship that had been sporadic since 2016, Thompson and Kardashian announced their split in June 2021. The Canada native seems to be trying to maintain a friendly relationship with Kardashian and her family, despite their split.
The former Cleveland Cavaliers player sent his ex’s mom, Kris Jenner, a large bouquet of flowers on Sunday in honor of Mother’s Day, which the momager, 66, thanked him for via her Instagram Story. Kardashian also shared a snap of flowers she received on the special occasion but didn’t reveal who they came from.
Nichols has, for her part, continued to move forward in her lawsuit against Thompson. She requested more than $40,000 monthly child support per a March court file.
“With regard to child support, using Tristan’s income of $9.7 million alone and Maralee’s income of $0, Maralee at this time requests guideline monthly child support of $47,424,” court documents obtained by Use read. Nichols demanded that Thompson be required to pay her attorney costs, which exceed $1,000,000
