Honda Recalls Over 800,000 Vehicles for Safety Issues

Over the weekend, Honda announced that they will be recalling over 800,000 Honda Odyssey mini-vans. The recall was due to a safety issue regarding the seat latches. 

According to the company, there was a concern that the seats could tip forward if they were not properly latched. This problem would most commonly occur after a post-seat removal installation as the seats are adjusted side-to-side. 

The company said, "This issue will not occur if a seat is properly latched." However, "Honda has received 46 reports of minor injuries related to this issue."

The recall will affect Odysseys from 2011 to 2017. The company said that seats will receive a free repair opportunity once it is made available. Meanwhile, the company suggests that owners follow the instructions below to ensure safety:
