Another longtime Hollywood couple has called it quits. PEOPLE reports that singer Sean “Diddy” Combs and girlfriend Cassie Ventura have split.
The two were first linked together in 2007. At the time, they collaborated on music including her 2009 song "Must Be Love."
It appears that the couple had been together over a decade, but they only confirmed their relationship in 2012. According to the source, they broke up a few months ago.
Reps for the stars had no comment, but a source told PEOPLE, “the decision was amicable and they remain friends.”
“Cassie is going to focus on her music and acting career,” the source added.
Combs has been linked to someone else. He's reportedly seeing 26-year-old model Jocelyn Chew. They were apparently seen together in Miami, and they attended Drake’s recent show in Los Angeles together.
Combs, 48, and Ventura, 32, met when she was signed to his Bad Boy Records label. They had been largely silent about their relationship, attending events together but not commenting on their status.
Back in 2013, Ventura shared a rare look into their relationship.
She said, “Just being around him is a completely inspiring experience. The key to maintaining any relationship, be it a romantic relationship or a friendship, is honesty and communication.”
Back in June, while appearing on The Wendy Williams Show, Combs said, “I’m in love now.”
Best of luck to them moving forward. In other news, here's how Kate and William reacted when they heard her sister had given birth to a little boy.
