Actor Luke Perry passed away on Monday, March 4. The "Beverly Hills 90210" star died just a few short days after a stroke.
The actor, who was best-known for playing Dylan McKay on the cult favorite 90210, was only 52 at the time of his passing. His most recent show was CW's hit "Riverdale." Perry played Archie's dad in the adaptation of the beloved comics.
After news of his passing broke, fellow actors flooded to Twitter to offer their condolences and memories of him. Those who had worked with him on his numerous TV shows, which also included hit show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" were particularly heartbroken by his passing.
His "Riverdale" co-star, Molly Ringwald, who plays his ex-wife on the show, shared that she's heartbroken at the news.
"My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry. Sending all my love to your family," she wrote on Twitter.
His 90210 co-star Ian Ziering also expressed his sorrow. In a heartfelt Twitter post, he remembered their time together.
"Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we've shared over the last thirty years. May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here, for those you leave behind," he wrote.
Joss Whedon, Seth Green, and David Boreanaz also remembered their "Buffy" castmate. They expressed sorrow and loss in Twitter posts.
Countless other tributes also flooded in. All of them celebrated his life, which ended too soon.
Actress Oliva Munn took the opportunity to remind people of the signs of a stroke. As Perry would have undoubtedly wanted, she publicized the symptoms to save others.
