Fellow co-host Savannah Guthrie shocked the other anchors at the table when she said, “I have a really good ‘POPSTART’ story to share with you guys. It’s an exclusive! I think you’re going to want to hear this. There’s someone on the phone right now.”
Kotb chimed in via telephone with a sweet “hello” before revealing the big news: “It’s a girl! And her name is Hope.”
Baby Hope Catherine joins big sister Haley Joy, 2, whom Kotb and Schiffman adopted together in 2017. Haley is reportedly very excited about her little sister!
"I'm feeding her and I can't believe it,'' Hoda said tearfully. "I'm so happy she's here!"
