“History will figure that out on its own.” That is what Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., recently replied to Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Fauci slammed the idea that the COVID-19 epidemic was caused by a dangerous virus that was released in the Chinese Wuhan lab of virology.—Fauci himself prompted this initiative, which was in part funded by U.S. Health Agencies.
Fauci offered arguments from authority by citing his own expertise, as well as that of “card-carrying” specialists.
In truth, however, there is not enough evidence to prove that any animal species has been infected by the SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 viruses.
Many federal health professionals are now arguing that the virus was intentionally created. Many experts believe that the virus was likely the result of gain-of function research that was partially funded by a U.S. grant.
Others agree that Dr. Peter Daszak and Fauci are both valid—who was involved with gain-of function research, often in collaboration with the Chinese—They were not open about the extent of their ties with the Wuhan laboratory. History will eventually reveal the truth, despite Chinese resistance to disclosing relevant data.—As it does with many controversies at the moment.
Five years ago, the New York Times, Washington Post, majority of the mainstream media, as well as the majority of Washington, D.C.’s bipartisan political and government establishments, insisted that Donald Trump had conspired with Russia to rig 2016 election.
They resorted to the Steele dossier as a support for conspiracy theories. It was a supposedly independent research effort detailing “proof” of Trump-Russian cooperation to rob Hillary Clinton of the election.
This was the unspoken evidence for a 22-month, $40 Million special counsel investigation into Trump by Robert Mueller, former FBI chief.
For over 650 days, the country was consumed with “Russian collusion.” Cable news outlets, public television and radio pundits, along with high-ranking Democratic politicians, almost daily announced the impending end of the colluding Trump administration.
They peddled rumors of Trump’s supposed obscene activity in Moscow. They spun tales of mysterious meetings between Trump’s family and Russian operatives, and of Trump surrogates’ supposed trips to meet with Russian colluding officials.
Christopher Steele, the architect of the “dossier,” had not been to Russia in decades. He was a rank-partisan in the Clinton campaign’s payment system.—The FBI was once in a while there.
Five years later, history has almost sorted the fable that the nation’s most powerful, wealthy, and influential Americans once told the public.
John Durham, the special prosecutor, appears to be slowly indicting those who were involved in the hoax. Inspector General Michael Horowitz had previously conducted an extensive internal audit that found wrongdoing by the FBI and Department of Justice.
Mueller’s investigation found no evidence of Russian-Trump conspiracy. The House Intelligence Committee reached the same conclusion in its 2018 majority report.
Other elements of the unprofessional and warped behavior of the FBI included the admission of false statements by Andrew McCabe, former FBI interim director, and the felonious altering a court document by Kevin Clinesmith.
While under oath, James Comey, the former FBI Director, and Mueller were unable to answer fundamental question about the dossier and the role played by its authors in the spreading of the collusion hoax. Mueller’s legal team and Comey himself habitually leaked rumors that fed the collusion hoax.
History is slowly making it right.—Despite the accepted narrative of the well connected who misled the country in pursuit of their political agendas.
Public health historians will one day uncover the true costs of locking down large swathes of America as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These are now taboo topics—The strong natural immunity that is provided by prior infection, and the horrible damage done by quarantines—Earn cancel culture damnation, job suspension, and media calumny. But they will be soon accepted as fact.
The same can be said about the hysterical myths surrounding the January 6th riot at Capitol. Five years from now history will show that there was no conspiracy, no pre-planned “insurrection”—As the FBI already concluded.
Brian Sicknick, a former Capitol police officer was not assassinated. Those “armed” inside the Capitol did not carry—Much less usage—guns. Ashlibabbitt was the one fatality. It was an unarmed female who was shot by an officer after trying to enter through a window that was broken.
The Constitution of the United States of America will not permit the use of indefinite incarceration, solitary confinement or inhumane jail conditions for some of the accused.
History will eventually make it all right.
Or as the second-century A.D. skeptic philosopher Sextus Empricus noted, eventually the truth emerges and cosmic justice is rendered: “The millstones of the gods grind late, but they grind fine.”
