Trump made headlines last week when he announced that he would be donating $1 million of his own money to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Now he has issued an official report describing exactly where the funds will be going.

Trump's earlier announcement came in the midst of a large handful of celebrities who declared they would donate a sizable amount of money to victims. Among them were Sandra Bullock, who donated $1 million to the American Red Cross.  Actor Leonardo DiCaprio also donated $1 million to the United Way Harvey Recovery Fund. Ellen DeGeneres then donated $1 million dollars. The list goes on.

So where will President Trump be donating his $1 million dollars? Here is the list.

As you can see, a total of twelve organizations will receive direct donations from President Trump. Several of these organizations were observed first hand by President Trump when he made his earlier trip to Texas to oversee the recovery effort. Those organizations which he did not observe first hand were recommended by staff members who are close to him.

Aside from assisting in whatever material way they can, the statement also mentions that President Trump and First Lady Melania are both praying for the victims. And in this regard, they are joining with the rest of the country in praying for the quick recovery of the region as well as for the wellbeing of victims and their families. Please join them in prayer.
