Here’s What Our 6 Living Presidents Would Look Like If Their Faces Were Symmetrical

Just for fun, Buzzfeed decided to test the theory that facial symmetry — both sides of your face being identical — is a key to good looks. They took the faces of several attractive celebrities and made one side of their face match the other. In the left photo, you have a mirrored image of the left side of the face. In the right photo, you have a mirrored image of the right side of the face.

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian looked shockingly different, proving that some attractive people’s noses are not centered on their face.

Celebrities like Adele have very symmetrical faces, yet there’s still something unnerving about these perfectly symmetrical mashups.

Just for fun, we decided to create our own symmetrical mashups of the six living U.S. presidents based on their official presidential portraits. We’ve provided the original image, the mirrored left side of the face (from the viewer’s perspective), and the mirrored right side of the face.

45th President of the United States Donald Trump definitely does not have a symmetrical face, although his hair in the center image looks pretty awesome.

44th President of the United States Barack Obama has an incredibly symmetrical face. Having a symmetrical hairstyle certainly helps.

43rd President of the United States George W. Bush also has a fairly symmetrical face. Oddly, he looks slightly more like his brother Jeb in the center image.

42nd President of the United State Bill Clinton definitely doesn’t have facial symmetry. These mashups are just odd.

41st President of the United States George H.W. Bush proves that one side of his face looked much younger at that time than the other side. A lot of it has to do with his uneven hairline and mouth.

39th President of the United States Jimmy Carter looks a bit odd in this mashup, but he’s got the same signature grin across every photo.

So what’s all this prove? The difference between both sides of our face is a key to our overall look, and in most cases, we need to see both sides to fully recognize each other.

What do you think of this? In other news, a law professor thinks there’s still a way for Hillary Clinton to be president, and she wouldn’t have to wait to be elected. See how.
