One of America’s top business moguls, unfortunately, passed away on Tuesday, April 23rd. Henry Bloch, the co-founder of H&R block — a tax preparation company based out of the United States, was 96 years old at the time of his death.
The cause of death was not disclosed, but it is likely that Bloch simply died of old age and declining health. The sad news was first confirmed by the company in a press release.
"Henry embodied the best of American business, entrepreneurship and philanthropy," H&R Block’s current CEO Jeff Jones stated. "In so many ways, he was ahead of his time and a model for today's entrepreneur."
According to CNN, Bloch was also a decorated war hero. Before starting H&R Block with his brother Richard, he entered World War II in 1941.
Fans and others who knew Bloch personally wrote tributes for the late businessman on social media. He will be greatly missed!
Please pray for Boch’s friends, family, and loved ones as they mourn this great loss. May God bring them peace and comfort during this difficult time.
