A tragic news story is making headlines around the globe. A heavily-pregnant teacher has passed away, along with her unborn child, after a terrible wreck.
"Anna Kirsopp-Lewis, 34, was just weeks away from giving birth when she died in the devastating smash near Warminster, Wiltshire," reported the Mirror.
Anna was riding in a grey Peugeot that collided with a black Porsche Cayenne on Tuesday. The young woman and her baby did not survive the crash. It was a heartbreaking moment for her friends, family, and her students.
"Devastated students at the college where she taught media studies were reportedly told the news during a tearful assembly today. One A-Level student at Frome College in Somerset said: 'She was a lovely teacher, she was taken too soon.' Another wrote online: 'Some of us are placing flowers outside Mrs Kirsopp-Lewis room, round the side of E block. Please place as many flowers as possible in her memory,'" reported the Mirror.
Her photo is being released for the first time since the accident. Please join us in praying for her friends and family as they go through this tragic time. We ask that God's healing grace would surround and comfort them, especially through the upcoming Christmas season.
"Absolutely heartbroken. Ms Kirsopp will always be one of my favourite teachers ever. Helped me get an A+ in Media and was one of the nicest teachers I've ever had. RIP," wrote Mark Harrison, who said he was a former student, on Twitter.
We also pray for the driver of the Porsche. The 62-year-old man who collided with Anna is said to have suffered life-threading injuries in the crash. At this time, investigators are working to determine what caused the accident.
