Meghan Markle is known as one of the most iconic women on the entire planet. She already had a successful acting career when she became a household name.

Markle is the newlywed who tied-the-knot back in May with Prince Harry. While we can only speculate, we assume things must be very different for the American now that she is a member of the Royal Family.

Sadly, things are not looking so good for Meghan's own family. Numerous reports have surfaced over the past few months that documented the rising tensions between her father and other siblings. Although Meghan is busy doing her own thing, they are still fixated on her.

Now, a sad report has just been released about Meghan's dad. According to ET, Meghan and her father have not spoken in over 10 weeks.

"She has not spoken to her father in more than 10 weeks since her wedding and is still hurt by her father, who has both staged the photos and continues to give paid interviews," the source says. "The Palace is at a loss of what to do and is re-evaluating options, including a more aggressive strategy to stem the embarrassment caused by Meghan's dad, half-sister, and half-brother," reported ET.

It appears Meghan has been drawing close to the Royal family during this time. It is so sad to see her having to go through this, especially as a newlywed.

"Meghan has established a particularly warm relationship with her father-in-law and Prince Charles adores his new daughter-in-law," the source says of Harry's father, who stepped in to escort Meghan down the aisle at the royal wedding after her dad backed out due to health reasons. "He pulled out all the stops at Harry and Meghan's wedding and Meghan was grateful to him for showing such generosity and support when her father pulled out of the wedding last minute," reported ET.
