Halle Berry Believes She’s ‘A Much Better Mother’ Being With Van Hunt Than Being With Exes That ‘Didn’t Serve’ Her

Halle BerryShe is being open about her relationship. As reported previously Halle BerryAnd Van HuntTheir relationship was made public in September 2020. However, sources claim they were already dating for many months. The 55-year old even publicly thanked him at a party and said,

“My love, love, love — my sweetheart. I’ve never had a man that has lifted me up and let me be all that I am.”

The Oscar-winning actress appears happier than ever. Her relationship with her husband is also evident. Van HuntShe said that her life has been influenced in many ways. She said,

“I just feel fulfilled. I feel fulfilled in my relationships, as a mother, and as an artist. I’m a much better mother in this circumstance than I would have been had I stayed in a romantic relationship that didn’t serve me and didn’t make me feel the way I need to feel as a woman.”

According to reports, Halle Berry realized that self-care is also an integral role of being a good mother. She said,

“I’m reminded that we always have to take care of ourselves first, because I can’t be a good mother for my children if I’m not fundamentally happy and feeling good about myself.”

When it comes to Berry’s parenting, she opened up about some of the core lessons she’s passing on to her kids. She shared with her daughter,

“Use your voice. You have the right to be heard. You are loved and respected just as you are. Only you define who you are.”

She continues to say,

“I’m trying to teach them to march to the beat of their own drum. Be true to themselves, and not be followers, but be leaders and innovators.”
