Famous American musician Harold Simon Belsky, best known by his stage name “Hal Blaine,” sadly passed away on Monday, March 11th. The legendary drummer died of natural causes at 90 years old, according to the New Yorker.
Blaine had been a musician since the late 1940s, but he rose to high fame with “The Wrecking Crew” band in the 1960s. Throughout his career, he recorded more than 100 top hits in the United States including “Good Vibrations” and “Be My Baby.”
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the year 2000. He also received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award last year.
