
Holly and jolly, indeed! Great American Media’s second annual Great American Christmas lineup is sure to get viewers in the holiday spirit.
Since mid-2022, the network has slowly been rolling out its festive movie lineup, competing with Hallmark Media. In June, Us Weekly shared an exclusive first look at Great American Family’s Merry Christmas Wishes, which will be released later this year.
Stars of holiday films Cameron MathisonAs Dylan says, and Jill Wagner(as Janie), both of them had long careers with Hallmark Channel, before joining forces for this 2022 Christmas story. “I play Dylan. The former Family and home cohost also gushed about why fans will enjoy Wagner’s character, saying, “Because you make her so authentic and likable and sweet and sensitive and also at the same time, conflicted.”
In the movie, Janie returns to her small hometown of Woodland Falls after her great uncle’s death. To her surprise, her uncle left his farm to her and asked that she host the annual Winter Wonderland Festival. Dylan, a Christmas obsessed farmhand, will also be there.
Merry Christmas WishOne of many new films to be featured in the Great American Holiday programming, which begins Saturday, October 21. Some of the other new movies — which will premiere every SaturdayAnd Sunday up until Christmas — include Candace Cameron Bure’s A Christmas … Present and Jen Lilley’s Stay for Christmas.
Cameron Bure’s Great American Family film will be her first project for the network since announcing in April that she had signed an exclusive deal with the company. Former Hallmark CEO, Cameron Bure, is one of many stars who have followed her. Bill AbbottThe network has been updated in recent months.
