Grammy-Nominated Christian Singer with Tourette’s Syndrome Sees Dreams Come True

Grammy-nominated Christian singer Jamie Grace rose to fame on YouTube and recently, her deepest dreams came true.

Grace was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome when she was 11. Tourette’s is a neurological disorder which causes uncontrollable tics and compulsive utterances or obscene outbursts.

But she never let it stop her. The 26-year-old pursued her dreams and improved her voice, seeking to inspire others through song. One of her dreams came true when she was nominated for a Grammy Award and a Billboard Award when she was just 19.

But she had another dream, and that was to date. She struggled in that department. That is, until she hooked up with Aaron Collins, an accomplished man in his own right as a model and actor.

Last November they started dated, embarking on a five-month courtship that culminated on April 14, 2018, when they wed. Jamie Grace’s wildest dreams came true.

“Aaron is, by far, the most amazing man I have ever met,” Grace told People of her husband.

She said she first met him at one of her shows in 2016, then he “slid into my DMs on Instagram” she said, last November. Later, in January, Collins popped the question.

The couple chose to exchange traditional vows for their wedding ceremony. They wed at North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

“I was more giddy than anything,” said Grace, of their wedding.

She and her husband weren’t alone. They were surrounded by 1500 friends, family and fans, creating a standing-room-only atmosphere inside the church. There were over 1000 persons on the waiting list.

“I was genuinely surrounded by every person who could calm any possible nerves,” said Grace. “It was an absolute fairytale wedding and I almost couldn’t believe it was happening.”

Please pray for Jamie and Aaron as they embark on their new marriage. Be sure to read about what happened next when a man interrupted President Trump at a recent press meeting.
