Good News for ‘Fixer Upper’ Stars Chip and Joanna Gaines

Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV’s ‘Fixer Upper’ received great news this week! It was recently announced that the reality television stars were nominated for an Emmy award for 'Best Structured Reality Program'.

HGTV commented on the exciting news via Twitter by sharing a cute, funny video of one of America’s favorite TV couples. Aside from Chip and Joanna themselves, many fans were very happy to hear the announcement.

Chip and Joanna Gaines have become an ‘American favorite’ in recent times for their outspoken Christian faith and values. Their show ‘Fixer Upper’ has also become a favorite, being one of the top-rated cable shows of 2017.

Other Emmy nominations for Best Structured Reality Program include PBS’s ‘Antiques Roadshow’, Food Network’s ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’, Spike TV’s ‘Lip Sync Battle’, ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’, and TLC’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’.

The Emmy Awards 2017, hosted by Stephen Colbert, will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, September 17th at 5:00 PM local time. The awards will also be aired live on CBS.
