Gabrielle islets known for her performances in the romantic comedy films The Brothers (2001), Deliver Us from Eva (2003), Daddy’s Little Girls (2007), Think Like a Man (2012) and Think Like a Man Too (2014). She was also a star in the CBS medical drama City of Angels (2001), and the films Bad Boys II (2003). Union was first a star in the BET drama series Being Mary Jane. She has been awarded an NAACP Image Award. She starred as Union in The Birth of a Nation (2016). Next, she appeared in Almost Christmas (2016).
Union is an actor, but she has also written four books. These include two memoirs entitled We’re going to need more wine (2017) and You got anything stronger? (2021), and two books for children, Shady Baby (2021). She is also an outspoken advocate for issues that affect women’s safety and violence against them. Union was listed on Time’s list as one of the 100 most influential persons in the world for 2020.
