America is still in mourning after the most famous Christian evangelist of our time — Billy Graham — went home to be with Jesus. Graham died at 99 years old on Wednesday, February 21st following years of deteriorating health.

During his lifetime, Graham ministered to millions of people across the globe. He traveled to several different countries and touched the hearts of many, preaching God’s Word and leading others to the free gift of salvation.

The Billy Graham story is a powerful one — one that will be remembered far beyond his time.

Graham’s son, Franklin Graham — who has followed in the footsteps of sharing the Gospel, shared a powerful, video tribute to his father. On Thursday morning, Franklin shared the video on his Facebook page, which quickly went viral with more than half a million page views and over 38,000 shares.

The video includes a variety of voice clips from Graham’s infamous sermons, old photographs of Graham and his family, and a number of video clips from Graham’s past.

“It’s not often one man is able to move the hearts of nations, to usher change across race and age, but when someone gives their life to a divine calling, amazing things happen. That is the legacy of Billy Graham,” the narrator said.

Graham was introduced to Christ at age 15. A friend invited him to hear evangelist Mordecai Ham, where “the spirit of God spoke to [him] night after night.” After going off to college, he began sharing the Gospel with others.

Later, he married the love of his life, Ruth, and had five beautiful children. Aside from sharing God’s Word, Graham found joy and comfort in spending time with his family. Although, he previously admitted it was difficult being away from them so often.

“He was one of the most sought after man of this age, turning down the political stage and Hollywood spotlight in order to continue his ministry to the lost, weary and forgotten. His message was unfaltering, remaining true to the Gospel and his steadfast faith in Christ,” the narrator continued.

The video ends with one of Graham's most famous quotes: “Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.”
