Just days ago, Franklin Graham predicted the Left would do whatever it takes to try to win the midterm election. "The spectacle surrounding the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is just a foreshadowing of what we can expect if progressive-liberal socialists rule our country. And believe me, they are doing whatever they can—no matter how devious and disgusting—to see their own godless agenda forced upon us," Graham warned.
Now he already has proof. In a recent Facebook post, Graham shares how a leftist group is trying to deceive Christians and churches with a fake voter guide targeted at them.
"Churches and Christians be aware," Graham writes in his post. "There are organizations that are putting out fake voter guides—with false information—focusing on churches who they think could be gullible. It’s a shame that anyone would go to these lengths—but don’t fall for it. Research the issues and the candidates. Pray before you vote, and let God guide you. Learn more in this article by Todd Starnes."
Starnes shows a picture of two voter guides, side by side. One is the real one from Vision America; the other is a fraud trying to promote Democrat Robert (Beto) O’Rourke and is being distributed amongst churches in Texas.
“They tried to deceive the people of God in the house of God,” Vision America president John Graves told Starnes. “They are trying to influence elections through deceit.”
“They kept our logo, our look, our colors, but they flipped the issues of the candidates,” Graves said. “The fake voter guides clearly favored O’Rourke. They made Ted Cruz look like he was pro-abortion.”
“I’ve been around this type of work for 20 years and I’ve never seen anyone go to this level of deceit and dishonesty to try to deceive Christians,” Graves added.
Graves plans to press charges when they discover the culprit. “It’s an evil spirit behind it,” he said. “The people who did it – it exposes the spirit behind them.”
As for Graham, he would likely agree. The passionate evangelist wrote in his letter urging Christians to vote that the battle behind this very important election is spiritual.
"There is a battle raging between good and evil, between right and wrong, between light and darkness," wrote Graham. "It’s not new, but it certainly has intensified in a very public way. The battle is raging in the halls of Congress, on the Senate floor, in the Supreme Court and on the media airwaves. It is raging in our city councils and school boards across America."
Graham is urging each of us to study the issues and candidates and vote biblically. "That is why I am encouraging everyone to go out on Nov. 6 and vote for the candidate who is most closely aligned with Biblical values. And remember to study the positions of candidates in your local and state races as well as in the national elections. More than 6,600 state positions are being contested, including 36 governorships. Vote for those who are pro-life and who support the religious liberties that have undergirded our nation for centuries," he encouraged.
"Above all, pray that God will have mercy on our nation and that we will once again turn back to the God of our fathers," concluded Graham in his appeal.
What do you think of this kind of trickery and deceit? Does is motivate you to get out and vote? Share your thoughts in the comments! Thank you!
