Franklin Graham Puts Lady Gaga In Her Place For All Christians

Wow, leave it to Franklin to tell Gaga the truth about her comments! Second Lady Karen Pence recently made headlines for resuming her former teaching position at a Christian school as a part-time art teacher. The school has traditional guidelines about biblical sexuality, which excludes pre-marital and homosexual sex.

This, of course, the media has taken great exception to and has run a plethora of headlines against Karen Pence and the Vice President, calling them bigoted and hateful of the LGBT community. Lady Gaga hopped on the popular put-down train and called VP Mike Pence "the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian."

Gaga referenced herself as a picture of a true Christian, saying, "I am a Christian woman, and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice, and everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and look yourself in the mirror and you’ll find it right there."

Thankfully, Graham couldn't hold his tongue on Gaga's biblically misguided attack and let her know exactly what it means to be a true Christian. Here, tagging the Vice President, Graham wrote on Facebook:

"Lady Gaga, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, may be a very talented singer and actress, but her comments about Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence are misguided and unfortunate. She said, 'To Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife work at a school that bans LGBTQ, you are wrong.' She added, 'You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian.' Excuse me?" asked Graham.

"As Christians, following Christ means following the teachings of God’s Word," explained the bold Christian leader. "The Bible makes it clear that homosexuality is a sin—among many others—and they all have a cost. We are to seek to live our lives in obedience to His Word. He set the rules, not us; He is the one who defined sin, and out of His love and mercy, He provided a remedy for sin—all sin—through repentance and faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. I know Vice President Mike Pence and Mrs. Pence, and, to me, the way they conduct their lives and exhibit their faith make them the best kind of Christian. What a blessing they are to our nation!"

Graham's very forward message about homosexuality being a sin is even more brave considering the recent ban Facebook put on Graham's page over a 2 year old post condemning a transgender bathroom bill. Facebook had grounded Graham, saying his post was basically too hateful. After he fired back at them, Facebook apologized for the ban, saying it was an error.

But Graham didn't buy it. A 2 year old post being flagged now in error? No, Graham knew it was targeted. Yet he still graciously accepted Facebook's apology and has obviously shown no sign of backing down from his strong Christian statements.

As for the Second Lady, she said that it's "deeply offensive to us" to "see major news organizations attacking Christian education," reports USA Today.

We applaud both Graham and the Pence's for their bravery in the midst of obvious and growing persecution towards true Christian values. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the Comments. Thank you so much!
