Franklin Graham PRAISES Trump For Doing THIS "Difficult" Thing

February 02, 2017Feb 02, 2017

President Trump has been incredibly busy in his first couple weeks in office. Between enacting new immigration policies, dealing with an Iran breach of contract, meeting with African American leaders, and having the National Prayer Breakfast (amongst many other duties), Trump definitely went out of his way to honor a fallen soldier.

Franklin Graham (who has applauded many of Trump's other moves, like his SCOTUS pick and immigration ban) took to Facebook to laud Trump for his honoring of Chief Petty Officer William “Ryan” Owens, a Navy SEAL who was just killed in Yemen.

And despite media reports that make it look like all of America (or at least Hollywood) is opposed to Trump, so many are breathing a sigh of relief to finally have a President that honors the military, the Constitution (as in his SCOTUS pick), and national security.

Here's one such comment from a thankful American:

Trump gave a beautiful speech honoring Owens at Thursday's National Prayer Breakfast.  "He died in defense of our nation. He gave his life in defense of our people. Our debt to him and our debt to his family is eternal and everlasting," Trump said.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends," he continued, quoting John 15:13. "We will never ever forget the men in Uniform."

"Our liberty has been earned and with their sweat and blood and tears. God has blessed this land to give us such incredible heroes and patriots. They are very, very special and we are going to take care of them," Trump vowed.

The Christian Post reports that the Yemen operation was one planned under Obama's administration and approved by Trump. Owens was the only one killed during the raid that produced "an unbelievable amount of intelligence that will prevent the potential deaths or attacks on American soil," according to Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

We are thankful and humbled by the sacrifice of so many, like Owens, who have died to make sure we have freedom. Let us each say a prayer for his family today! Will you post yours in the Comments? Thank you!
