On February 21st, the Reverend Billy Graham went home to Jesus. For over a week, people honored his memory in a wake at his home and laying in honor on Capitol Hill. On March 2nd, evangelist Reverend Billy Graham was put to rest in a beautiful funeral.

At the funeral, all of his children spoke about their father and the kind of man he was. They all had touching and moving testimonies.

Now, his son Franklin Graham is opening up about his final moments with his father. He revealed the details in an interview with TBN, according to CBN.

The exclusive interview took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, at Graham's home. Franklin Graham recalled his father while sitting in his father's personal office.

"I was with him the Sunday before he died and the last few years he'd been real quiet. He didn't say much. His mind was good because every now and then he would respond," Graham told TBN's Matt and Laurie Crouch.

On that last day together, Billy Graham let his son know he was cold by shaking his hand. Graham recalls bringing his father a blanket.

"I went and got him a blanket and put it up on his chest and around his neck and in about five minutes his hand quit shaking and he began to lightly snore like he was asleep. And I prayed for him and that was the last time I saw him," Graham said.

Graham also revealed that he considered asking President Trump to speak at his father's service. However, both Franklin and President Trump agreed it would be best to honor Billy Graham's life in another way.

"We all felt it would be more powerful if the president came and like everyone else watched and participated from his seat," Graham explained. "It was just the family that spoke."

In the interview, Franklin also spoke about his personal relationship with his father as a child. He shared that, as a child, he didn't realize that his father was the spiritual mentor to presidents and champion of Christ around the world.

"It really wasn't until I was a teenager that I really began to understand or comprehend not just the message that my father preached, but there was as special anointing on his life that came just from God," he explained.

In other news, Billy Graham's friend Queen Elizabeth is a grandma again. Here's the name of the newest prince.
