Billy Graham’s daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2018. Lotz, 70 years old, is heavily involved in Christian ministry much like her father was during his lifetime. She has chosen to view her cancer battle as part of her testimony — a way to trust God and share her story for His glory.
Lotz had to undergo surgery last September. And earlier this year, she began chemotherapy. The American evangelist has reportedly been responding well to treatment.
Franklin Graham, Lotz’s brother, has shared several updates on his sister over the past few months — primarily requesting prayers from the public as she continues to fight cancer. Graham recently posted another message about Lotz on February 4th, 2019, the date that marks World Cancer Day.
“My sister Anne Graham Lotz was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago,” Mr. Graham said.
“I know that your continued prayers have meant a lot to her and to our family,” he added. “Thank you to each one who has prayed.”
Lotz’s cancer news comes shortly after their father, the legendary Rev. Billy Graham, passed away on February 21, 2018.
Please join us in praying for Lotz as she carries on with this difficult battle. May God bring quick healing to Lotz and bless her family members with peace! Amen.
