One of the troubles of being famous is that your mistakes are normally broadcast to the public. If you and I made a bad mistake, normally only our friends and family know about it. But if you are soccer star Abby Womach and you drive drunk, everyone knows about it. And it's easy to judge.
But Franklin Graham doesn't point the finger at her in his latest Facebook post. Instead, he commends Womach's honesty in taking full responsibility for her actions.
"Those that know me, know that I have always demanded excellence from myself. I have let myself and others down. I take full responsibility for my actions," Womach said in a statement shared by USA Today.
"This is all on me. I promise that I will do whatever it takes to ensure that my horrible mistake is never repeated. I am so sorry to my family, friends, fans and those that look to follow a better example."
We admire her courage and integrity in taking full responsibility! Do you agree?
