First Lady Melania Trump officially departed on her first major solo international trip as the President’s leading lady Monday, October 1st. As previously reported, Mrs. Trump’s trip, which comes as a part of her “Be Best” campaign, consists of meeting children and families in Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt.
“During the trip, Mrs. Trump will learn more about the United States role in providing assistance to help countries become self-sufficient,” Melania’s office said in a statement. “Her trip will focus on maternal and newborn care in hospitals, education for children, the deep culture and history woven into each African country, and how the United States is supporting each country on its journey to self-reliance.”
As the First Lady continues her African excursion, conservative Christian voice Franklin Graham requested prayers for President Trump’s wife.
“FLOTUS is in Africa this week, representing the U.S. In addition to Ghana, she will be going to Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt,” Graham said in a social media post. “I am sure she will be an encouragement and a blessing to all those she meets.”
“Pray for her safety and protection as she goes," he added.

In breaking news, a prominent Christian figure is also in need of prayers as he just underwent a major heart procedure.
