You've heard parents say to their complaining kids, "If you don't like it, don't eat it." And people often think of voting that way: If I don't like any of the candidates, I won't vote." There's a misconception that if we don't participate, we won't be affected. But it couldn't be further from the truth. The next President is like a plate of food that everyone has to eat for the next four years--whether we like it or not. So we better do all we can to choose the best one.
