Cowards. That's how Franklin Graham describes the ISIS terrorists who just took credit for what happened in Barcelona. 13 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the series of terrorist events.
CNN reports: "The deadly events began in the early evening with a van plowing through crowds on the renowned Las Ramblas avenue, a popular tourist section of Barcelona. Authorities said of the 80 people taken to hospitals, 15 were seriously hurt."
The terrorism then continued over the next two days, leaving more dead and injured. CNN provided this picture of the timeline of events.
ISIS quickly took credit for the terrorism, but Graham does not think it's anything to take pride in; rather, he calls the act of terrorism "cowardice" and asks that people pray for the victims and their families.
Events like these remind us that ISIS is still a very real threat in the world. They can also serve to affirm why President Trump has been so strong about America's immigration policy. In fact, there has been another series of murders in Europe on Friday, possibly being attributed to terrorism.
What do you think of all the acts of terrorism by ISIS in the last year? Do you think Trump was right to crack down on national security? Post your thoughts and prayers in the comments! Thank you!
