Prayers Needed, Franklin Graham Gives Major Update on Sister's Breast Cancer

Franklin Graham is the son of the late Billy Graham, a world-famous preacher who is credited with leading thousands of people to the Lord. Now, Billy's own children are continuing his mission.

Franklin has become the pillar for the Graham family. He travels the world and gives sermons in much of the same way his father did. Family has always been very important to Franklin and he is very close with his siblings.

Sadly, Franklin's sister, Anne Graham, was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She recently underwent surgery for the illness and has kept her faith in God's ultimate plan throughout the entire ordeal.

"All went well. Cancer seemed contained with none apparently in the lymph nodes. Praise God! I stayed overnight and returned home this morning. Thank you for your prayers. God has poured out His blessing. I'm at peace with joy and expectancy that this is a journey He wants me on. I love following the Shepherd," wrote Anne on Facebook.

Now, Franklin is speaking out about the status of Anne's health.

"I want to thank everyone who prayed for my sister Anne @AGLotz this week as she had surgery for breast cancer. We thank God that it went well. The Word of God tells us, 'Be anxious for nothing...and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts,'" said Franklin on Twitter.

This is great news for the Graham family. Anne still has a tough road ahead as she recovers. Please join us in praying for her, and all of her family members, as they go through this chapter of life together.
