Franklin Graham Gives his Opinion on Jared Kushner's Innocence

The Trump family is definitely under fire. People Magazine just ran a majorly negative cover story on the First Family, painting them as money-hungry liars who will do anything to succeed and please Donald Trump. The cover read, "The Trump Family: Secrets & Lies."

Now, obviously, tabloid slander is the least of the family's problems. Son-in-law Jared Kushner is having to testify about his involvement with Russia and the election. At the same time, son Don Jr. has been under heat for an exposed e-mail chain between him and Russian nationals, prior to the election.

None of this is good for the First Family, but Franklin Graham believes that the bulk of it is just an attempt from mean-spirited liberals who want to destroy the Trumps--even at the cost of hurting the nation. Graham shares his personal opinion of Kushner's innocence in the Russia scandal in his latest Facebook post

Kushner is maintaining that none of his meetings with Russia before the election were an attempt to get Trump elected, reports the New York Times. "In his prepared remarks to investigators, Mr. Kushner said he had been unaware that a June 2016 meeting he attended at Trump Tower was set up in the hope that a Russian lawyer would provide the Trump campaign with damaging information about Mrs. Clinton. He said he arrived at the meeting late and had been so uninterested in the discussion that he emailed his assistant to ask for her help escaping," shared The Times.

“All of my actions were proper and occurred in the normal course of events of a very unique campaign,” Mr. Kushner said at the White House. “I did not collude with Russians, nor do I know of anyone in the campaign who did. Suggesting otherwise ridicules those who voted for him."
