Franklin Graham Reacts to Supreme Court’s Decision on Baker Who Refused to Serve Gay Couple

On Monday morning, June 4th, the Supreme Court made their decision on Colorado baker Jack Phillips who refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. The Supreme Court ruled in his favor bringing in applause and cheer from Christians across the nation.

Franklin Graham, son of the legendary Rev. Billy Graham, was one of many conservative Christians who praised the court’s decision. Graham posted a statement via social media shortly after news of the ruling broke to the public.

“We thank God for answered prayer! Today the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Jack Phillips, the Colorado baker who refused to create a wedding cake for a same-sex marriage ceremony,” Graham stated. “This is a huge win for religious freedom!”

Other conservative names who expressed their support for Phillips include political commentator Matt Walsh and host Allie Beth Stuckey.
