Do we have power as Christians to make changes in our society? That's what many of us wonder these days. We see the liberal agenda taking over and we often feel that we can't stop the train.
But we can effect powerful change, as Franklin Graham so powerfully illustrates in his latest Facebook post. In his first statement after the midterm elections, Graham praises Alabama for standing up for putting the Bible back in the public arena.
"Way to go Alabama!" congratulates Graham on Facebook. "The people of Alabama voted overwhelmingly to allow the display of the Ten Commandments in schools and other public property. Over 70% of those who voted said 'YES!'" lauds Graham.
"This is a great example of what a difference your vote can make," encourages Graham. "It is so important to vote and let the Christian voice be heard in the ballot box. In a time when secularism is attempting to remove God from everything in the public realm, this is major. As Christians we need to keep praying, work boldly, and stand firmly on the Solid Rock. The Ten Commandments define God’s laws, and were the foundation of man’s laws. I hope more states will follow Alabama’s example!"
We do too! Many have noted the strong correlation between the decline in morality and the removal of the Ten Commandments from schools. Imagine if it was put back as a universal standard in all of the schools in the country! Can you imagine the change?
Let's pray that each of our states will follow Alabama's example and stand for our faith with our vote! Do you agree? Share your praise for Alabama's boldness in the comments! We'd love to hear what you think!
