You watch the news about the college "cry rooms" and the glorified temper tantrums and you think: This is what's wrong with the incoming generation. How will they handle other problems? Will they have the strength of character to withstand job loss, family deaths, and other "unfair" hardships? Who knows? But one thing is for sure: coddling them, as some of the schools are doing, is not the answer.
