May 01, 2017May 01, 2017

Fox News has been making major headlines this past year regarding sexual harassment scandals.

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who had the highest-rated cable news show on television, was let go by Fox in late April of 2017 after multiple sexual harassment claims were made against him.

Last year, former CEO Roger Ailes resigned after facing sexual harassment allegations.

Shortly after O’Reilly’s sexual harassment scandal, co-president Bill Shine also resigned on Monday.

Before he resigned, rumors of Shine being fired were circulating at the end of April according to other news sources.

Current CEO Rupert Murdoch released the following statement:

“Sadly, Bill Shine resigned today. I know Bill was respected and liked by everybody at Fox News. We will all miss him.”
