Former Teammates Respond to Horrific, Sudden Death of NBA Star and Wife

On Wednesday morning, a tragic report emerged about the sudden death of a former NBA star, Rasual Butler, and his wife, a former contestant on "American Idol," Leah LaBelle. 

The couple died in a horrific car crash on early Wednesday morning. They were pronounced dead at the scene. 

With the news of the tragedy, Butler's former teammates and competitors are speaking out, sharing their grief. Many people that knew Butler said that while he was a talented athlete, his character is what stood out. Below are the responses that have been given so far, originally curated by TMZ
