Former 'Price is Right' Host Has Died

The legendary entertainer and television host, Sir Bruce Forsyth, has passed away. He was surrounded by his wife and children at the time of his passing.

“The family would like to express their thanks to the many people who have sent cards and letters to Bruce wishing him well over his long illness and know that they will share in part, the great, great loss they feel,” according to the Daily Mail.

Fans remember Bruce as a television icon in the UK. He hosted numerous game shows, including the British version of the “Price is Right.” He also hosted “The Generation Game” and “Play Your Cards Right.”

Fans and other celebrities took to social media to express their condolences upon learning of his passing. Piers Morgan said, “One of Britain's greatest ever entertainers & a lovely man. Very sad news.”

Recently, before his passing, a friend visited Bruce and asked him what he had been up to. He reportedly joked back that he had “been very, very busy... being ill!" His positive spirit and sense of humor were a terrific attribute.
