On Thursday, a bone-shuttering video was released out of South Carolina. The footage is of a giant alligator casually walking around on a golf course and several deer looking on with shock. The alligator was reported to have been seen last summer, but a video capturing the dynamic between the gator and the deer was just released.
While the gator was minding his own business, his sheer size is enough to cause any onlookers’ hearts to pound faster. The gator was walking around at the Ocean Creek Golf Course in Fripp Island.
The guests at the golf course began taking photos and videos of the “monster gator” to capture the moment. Some of the guests at Eat Sleep Play Beaufort captured a particularly interesting video.
The video shows the 12-foot gator walking around the course. In the background, a group of deer is caught in their tracks staring straight at the gator with a petrified look.
Below is the video:
The alligator is reported as being 12 feet long. Reportedly, this isn’t the first giant gator that has made its way to the golf course.
News reports claim that the gators that go to these sort of places have little to no interest in the surrounding animals or humans. Instead, they are simply trying to make their way to their next pond. Alligators are reportedly much more dangerous when they are actually in the water than when they are roaming around on land.
Still, the size of the gator is terrifying, and the look on the deer’s faces says it all.
What do you think about this video?! What would you do if you saw an alligator of this size? Let us know! In other recent news, prayers are needed after Australia just experienced their worst mass shooting in 22 years.
