Fisher-Price Warns Customer After 10 Infants Die While Using Popular Product

Fisher-Price, the popular brand known for all things kids and baby, is making headlines after a serious issue has occurred with one of their products. Their products have been around for years and parents have come to know and love the brand.

However, things have taken a sad turn for several parents. According to reports, numerous babies have died while sleeping in the Fisher-Price Rock n' Play sleeper.

"The commission and Fisher-Price issued a warning Friday about the Rock ‘n Play sleeper, citing reports of 10 infant deaths since 2015. The infants, who were 3 months or older, rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, the commission said. The warning did not elaborate on what caused the infants’ death," reported WTKR.

Officials are recommending that babies stop using the sleepers if they are three months old, or if they are able to turn over on their own. Fisher-Price has just released a statement about the tragedies.

“A child fatality is an unimaginable tragedy,” Chuck Scothon, the general manager for Fisher-Price said. Fisher-Price and every one of our employees take the responsibility of being part of your family seriously, and we are committed to earning that trust every day,” he added.

Please help us get the word out about this potentially deadly nightmare. The product has not been recalled at this time.
