First Lady Melania Turns Heads with Unique Twist on St. Patrick's Day Style

On March 17, people from all around the globe celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. Every year, the White House holds several festivities leading up to the special holiday.

On Thursday, President Trump and First Lady Melania welcomed Ireland’s Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to the White House for a traditional celebration. They each posted about the occasion on social media.

As is common, all eyes were on First Lady Melania because of her fashion choice. This year, she opted to put a twist on the classic St. Patrick’s Day look.

Rather than wearing a solid color or something with sleeves, as is common for former First Ladies at this event, Melania wore a sleeveless darker green animal print dress. The dress was reportedly made by designer Brandon Maxwell.

Melania wore a snakeskin heel to go along with her look and wore her hair down in soft curls.

On Saturday, the President and First Lady kept up the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by decorating the fountain in the front of the White House with green. Below is the photo of it:
