On Tuesday night, tragic news emerged from the family and friends of Joel Taylor. The 38-year-old and former star of the reality TV show “Storm Chasers” had passed away.

The cause of death was not revealed immediately. Instead, Taylor’s closest friends posted about the beloved storm chaser on social media.

Taylor’s best friend and former costar, Reed Timmer, said, “RIP my best friend and storm chasing partner, Joel Taylor. I am shocked and absolutely devastated by the loss of my incredible, caring friend. We chased so many intense storms, and I wish we could have just one more storm chase. I’ll miss you forever, Joel. We lost a legend.”

Other friends took to social media to talk about how Taylor was always genuine. One friend said that he was just like “a huge smile,” and showed a picture of Taylor with a giant smile on his face.

Because the cause of death was not made immediately available, many were questioning the sudden death of this young man. Now, more sad news has emerged. Taylor reportedly died from a drug overdose. He was on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship when he overdosed with the party drugs on board the ship.

A law enforcement official said, “It appears the death could be an overdose and Joel Taylor was consuming controlled substances.”

According to TMZ, there were copious amounts of GHB, cocaine, and ecstasy on the boat. Because of the abundance of drugs, the FBI has launched an investigation.

Allegedly, several people were arrested for drug possession before the ship left Fort Lauderdale. Now, the authorities will reportedly investigate how the drugs ended up on the cruise ship in the first place, especially in such large quantities.

Sadly, an FBI investigation won't take back the loss of a young man. Please be praying for Taylor's family and friends as they mourn the death of their loved one. Share your prayers here! In other breaking news, Oprah just broke the silence on a 2020 presidential run. What do you think?
