Sadly, another Hollywood marriage is coming to an end. Former childhood actor Shia LaBeouf confirmed that he and his wife Mia Goth are officially ending their relationship.
A rep for the actor told PEOPLE, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
LaBeouf's rep shared the news after he was photographed leaving the London home of British singer FKA twigs(born Tahliah Debrett Barnett). The 32-year-old actor was seen with the 30-year-old singer as they went to the grocery store.
The two acted alongside each other in the upcoming film Honey Boy. The movie, which was written by LaBeouf, centers on a child actor working to mend his relationship with his alcoholic father.
Goth and LaBeouf tied the knot in October 2015. They were married in an impromptu Las Vegas ceremony.
That month, the actor confirmed the marriage while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. However, the Clark County of Nevada claimed he and Goth were not legally married, writing in a tweet at the time, “Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas.”
Twigs was previously engaged to Twilight actor Rob Pattinson. They split due to distance and time apart, a source told PEOPLE at the time.
While it's unclear whether Goth and LaBeouf were ever legally married, it is still sad to see their relationship end. Please say a prayer for all marriages. In other news, a "How I Met Your Mother" and "ER" actor passed away unexpectedly at only 48 years old. Please pray for his family.
