On Thursday, Kevin Hart was on his way to Boston to watch the playoff game between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. Traveling in his Gulfstream IV jet, he and his fellow passengers touched down on the runway, and that’s when things got scary.
As the plane touched down on the runway at Boston Logan International Airport, one of the tires suddenly blew. He took to social media to express his thanks that both he and everyone else survived the near-death accident.
“God is good with a capital G…” he wrote.
“Had our first serious Airplane scare today. Our planes tire busted on one side as we were landing and [expletive] got real for a second,” his note continued.
“No body was harmed…Our pilot handled the situation perfectly. Once again God is GOOD!!!!” he continued.
According to People, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a statement following the accident, saying, “a Gulfstream IV aircraft landed at Boston Logan International Airport at 3:29 p.m. and blew a left main gear tire.”
“Passengers were deplaned by stairs and the aircraft was towed to the ramp,” the statement continued. “The runway was closed temporarily to make sure all debris was cleared.”
Hart was later seen at the semifinal conference game, enjoying himself. Thank God that no one was seriously injured when the tire blew.
