Famous Entertainer Dies from Heart Attack in Las Vegas at Only 45 Years Old

The world of comedy is mourning the loss of a wonderful comedian. According to reports, Ralphie May has passed away.

May was only 45 years old at the time of his death. He died at his private residence after suffering a heart attack.

“We are heartbroken to announce the untimely death of our friend, Ralphie May,” his rep confirmed to Page Six on Friday. “Earlier this morning at a private residence in Las Vegas his body was discovered, the cause of death is cardiac arrest.”


May had reportedly been battling pneumonia recently and had even canceled some upcoming performances as he tried to recover. Many fellow comedians reached out on social media to express their sympathies for the entertainer.


“So sad to hear about Ralphie.” tweeted Jim Gaffigan. “Sweet guy. He loved doing stand up and loved comedians”

May became famous in the world of comedy after appearing on the show “Last Comic Standing” in 2003. He also appeared on specials for Comedy Central and Netflix. He was most recently working at Harrah’s Las Vegas.

Larry the Cable Guy wrote, “Oh man fellow comedian and friend Ralphie May just died. So crazy. RIP Ralphie. You, my friend, were one of the nicest and kindest out there.”
