One of the biggest names in the world of Christian music is now asking for prayer. Luke Smallbone, known for being a member of the wonderful music duo For King and Country, took to social media to ask for prayers for his young son.

According to the recent post, Luke's son Leo has just received reconstructive surgery on his skull. He told fans that they are expecting to stay in the hospital for about a week as their child heals. He also thanked fans for prayers and asked for continued prayers of healing.

"Our sweet Leo is out of surgery & all went better than expected," Luke Smallbone wrote on Instagram. "We should have a week or so in the hospital depending on his healing & are so proud of the champ he is. We are very thankful for all of your prayers & continue lifting him up as he heals."

Luke and his wife first learned their young baby needed surgery after taking him to the hospital for another reason. According to Luke's wife Courtney, she told fans she felt the Holy Spirit telling her to check on their baby. When Courtney went into Leo's room she found him not breathing and looking gray in color.

"Yesterday I was mowing the lawn when I heard my wife frantically yelling for me to call 911," Luke wrote in the September post. "I wasn't immediately sure why until I saw her holding our little boy, Leo, who was very gray and looking lifeless. She felt God impress on her to check on him while he was napping and after many prayers and some CPR, our little boy started to breathe again."

Please join us in praying for the Smallbone family. We ask that you spread the word about this young boy and let all your friends and family know that they need to include him in their prayers tonight.
