Hollywood stars Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot on October 19, 2012. Now, on their fifth anniversary, Timberlake is revisiting the song that started it all.
Jessica Biel rose to fame as a teenager when she was cast as Mary in the family-drama series "7th Heaven," the longest-running family drama in television history. She began getting booked for several other acting and modeling roles and ended up winning a plethora of awards.
Justin Timberlake's career began as a young child on "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club." The singer became well known as the lead singer and youngest member of NSYNC, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Several Grammy awards later, Timberlake turned to acting.
In 2007, Timberlake and Biel began dating. 5 years later, the couple was married at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy. They have one son, born in 2015. Now, 10 years after their relationship began, Timberlake and Biel are sharing their love over social media.
On Thursday, Timberlake posted a video of himself singing on his Facebook page. He was singing "A Song for You" by Donny Hathaway, the same song that the two danced to at their wedding.
Timberlake said, "#TBT to a late night freestyle session on a break in the studio - YES I've been back in the studio cooking! But, today is even more special for me because five years ago, on this day, I became the luckiest man in the world when I exchanged vows with my best friend. This song was our first dance."
He continued, "To my beautiful Jessica Biel: You have taught me so much about what a true love means. I can't put into words what these last five years have meant to me, so... 'Listen to the melody ‘cause my love is in there hiding...' #Happy5thAnniversaryWifey #ASongForYou."
Biel posted a video on her Instagram account of the two being goofy together. She said that even when he is initially skeptical, Timberlake will always get "extra" for her.
Earlier this year, Biel told Marie Claire why her relationship with Justin has been successful.
She said, "We have similar values; we believe in loyalty, honesty. We like to have fun. We like a lot of the same things. Also, in the business, we're all very career-oriented, and you have to be a little selfish. I understand that about my peers—about being focused and driven—and if you can find that and someone who shares the same values as you, it's like: Score!"
In Hollywood, solid marriages are rare to find. Congrats to the happy couple on their fifth anniversary! In other news, Eric and Lara Trump just revealed the meaning of their son's name and gave first look into his nursery.
