A famous rapper is speaking out and calling for change after he claims he almost shot a delivery driver for Amazon. Now, the story is making headlines.
According to reports, Ice-T says the incident took place on Monday at his home. The driver was delivering a package in the evening and Ice-T was caught off guard.
"The 61-year-old star said he 'almost shot' an Amazon courier who was delivering a package at his place on Monday because the individual wasn't wearing a uniform," reported Fox News.
Ice-T took to his Twitter account to let the company know that he almost shot the man because he wasn't wearing his uniform. The rapper says the man should have been wearing a vest and made it more clearly known that he was an employee.
The company has since responded. They thanked the music star for being a customer and promised that more innovations are coming in the future.
"Lots of innovations coming on this and many that already exist to help you track your package and delivery on a map," said Amazon's Vice President of Operations on Twitter, referring to the company's Map Tracking feature. "Thanks for being a customer."
