When an armed gunman took aim at a crowd of innocent people in Las Vegas, the world was forever changed. Stephen Paddock used multiple weapons to spray gunfire on concertgoers who were attending a country music festival in Las Vegas.
While the nation has tried to heal since the event, one band just started a huge fire on social media due to their controversial comment. While at a recent performance, NOFX made a crude joke about the Vegas shooting.
According to TMZ, the band was playing the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival, and when they finished a song frontman Fat Mike said, "We played a song about Muslims and we didn't get shot. Hooray."
While that comment was horrible, it was what they said next that truly started a fire online and had fans condemning their remarks.
"I guess you only get shot in Vegas if you are in a country band. That sucked, but at least they were country fans and no punk rock fans," said another band member.
