A sad story has just broken for fans of the Chicago Fire television series. Producers are now reporting that one of the actors has died.
DuShon Monique Brown has passed away. She was at home when she began to have chest pains and her family called local first responders. She suffered a heart attack soon after and has sadly passed away. She was only 49.
According to reports, Chicago Fire producer Dick Wolf released a statement on Brown's death. He says, "The Chicago Fire family is devastated to lose one of its own. Our thought and prayers are with DuShon's family and we will all miss her."
DuShon has been on the hit TV show since 2012. She played the role of Chief Boden's assistant, Connie. She also appeared on Prison Break. She previously worked as a high school counselor in real life.
