EXCLUSIVE: Dame Dash Says “Paid In Full” Sequel Will Be A Franchise With Multiple Series,  Docu & Car Show

Dame DashShe is sharing more details about a new project. In an exclusive interview with theJasmineBRAND Record Executive Dame Dash, 50, shared behind the scenes details about where production is currently at on the highly anticipated ‘Paid In Full’ sequel.

Dame DashHe is a man of many talents. He is not only well-known in music, but he is also a respected filmmaker and writer. In 2002 the popular film ‘Paid in Full,’ which was produced by Dame Dash,The movie was released. The movie is loosely based on 1980s Harlem drug dealers Azie “AZ” Faison, Rich Porter, and Alpo Martinez.

Dame Dash previously shared his plans to give the fans of ‘Paid in Full’ what they want and release a follow-up film to the story. Roc-A–Fella co-founder gave us an update during our interview on where he stands in terms of keeping his promise. He stated,

“Yeah, I’m casting the cars [for the project] right now and then, you know – I linked [with] the BBS Boys – they’re actually running around the world selecting the best – illest ‘Paid In Full’ mobiles.”

The BBS Boys is an old car club that specializes exclusively in European cars from the 80s and 90s. Dash continued,

“We got to keep it all the way real. This time I don’t have to deal with the sh*t  I had to deal with – where I had to fight for the integrity of it, I’m in control of it.” 

He continued,

“First is the cars – the car part of it is important. And then I’m interviewing everybody from different perspectives.  When I did it the first time I did it from one perspective and also I caught a lot of heat for that.” 

According to reports, the first installment of ‘Paid In Full’ was produced by Roc-A-Fella Films, Loud Films, Rat Entertainment, Dimension Films production companies.

Dash He suggested that the next project could be a docuseries. He said,

“Basically I already have 3 seasons mapped out.”

“You know, it’s a franchise.”

When can fans look forward to part-1 of the movie? Dash revealed,

“You’ll see the first installment of the process in January.”

He continued and shared he’ll be making an appearance in the project in some way.

“I’m definitely going to be in the first layer of the questioning, yes, but it won’t be only me.”

He continued,

“[Also]Keep people you consider legends that I actually grew-up with [in mind].”
