According to People and Vanity Fair, both of the Middleton girls have baby news to celebrate. Duchess Kate just gave birth to her third child with Prince William, and her sister Pippa is reportedly expecting her first child.
On Sunday, The Sun reported that Kate's younger sister had just told friends of her pregnancy last week after her 12-week scan, said Vanity Fair. A rep for Pippa, who was the maid of honor for her sister she married Prince William, declined to comment to People.
The news came just days before Kate Middleton was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in London on Monday morning. At 11:01 am local time, Kate gave birth to a little prince. They haven't released a name yet, but they've already introduced the young prince to the public.
Middleton, 34, and Matthews, 41, were married on May 20, 2017. Kate's children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were in the wedding.
“When Pippa found out she was pregnant, she was obviously thrilled and utterly overjoyed,” a friend told The Sun. “Naturally, big sister Kate and parents, Carole and Michael, were the first people she told—James aside—and they could not have been more delighted.”
Congratulations to the Middleton family! Kate's and Pippa's parents are the luckiest grandparents. Here's what Prince William had to say after the birth of his third child.
