AMBER ALERT: Major Update on Father Who Stabbed Wife, Abducted Their 5-Year-Old Son

The father, Justin Robertson, was located at a house in St. John, Washington several hours after abducting his own son. According to KHQ, 5-year-old Ethan was found safe. As of 9:00 PM ET, authorities are still trying to negotiate with his father who barricaded himself inside of the home. Please read the original story below for more details on this AMBER ALERT.


An AMBER ALERT was issued for a 5-year-old boy, Ethan Robertson, on Tuesday, April 23rd in Spokane, Washington. Since the alert was issued, it has also been extended to the states of Oregan and Idaho.

The young child was taken by his biological father, 41-year-old Justin Robertson. Ethan is believed to be in danger under his dad’s care.

According to Missing Kids, the estranged husband broke into his soon-to-be-ex wife’s home. Before taking off with their son, he reportedly stabbed her.

Ethan’s mother was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. However, the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, reported Q13 Fox.

Authorities have reason to believe that they may be traveling in a red 2014 Subaru Legacy with license plate number APN2450.

Little Ethan is white with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs roughly 30 pounds and was last seen wearing blue pajamas and an orange Nike t-shirt. His father is white with green eyes and a goatee beard. He weighs just over 200 pounds and is about 5'9" tall. He was last seen wearing a green Adidas shirt and black Adidas shorts.
